Matthew W. Johnson, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and is associate director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research. He has conducted scientific research on psychedelics since 2004 and has published numerous studies on the potential therapeutic effects of psychedelics as well as their risks.
