The Ocean Memory Project, supported by a grant from the National Academies Keck Futures Initiative, is composed of researchers from a diversity of disciplinary and cultural practices and points of view. The project connects by asking how and what the ocean remembers, acknowledging that memory, far from being a purely human trait, is a fundamental feature of many systems and of life itself.
