Meredith Moore is director of Ocean Conservancy’s Fish Conservation Program and a member of the Marine Fisheries Advisory Committee, which advises the Department of Commerce on matters pertaining to living marine resources. Moore has more than 15 years of experience advocating on environmental and human health issues in Washington, D.C., and now focuses on ensuring that U.S. fisheries are sustainably managed, resilient to climate change and support thriving coastal communities. She holds a B.S. in physics from the University of Georgia and an M.S. in Astronomy from the University of Maryland.
