Norman C.W. Wong, MD, FRCPC is a professor in the departments of Medicine and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of Calgary. His current and past roles at the University of Calgary include; biomedical research, clinical service, teaching and administration. While undertaking his fellowship training in Endocrinology at the University of Minnesota, he focused his studies on the apolipoprotein A-I gene. Thus his primary research interest continues to deal with the regulation of human apolipoprotein A-I gene expression. The focus of this research made it possible for him to be a co-founder of a biotechnology company called Resverlogix Corporation.
