Rachel Lane, PhD, RD, earned her PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center after working as a registered dietitian in a long-term acute-care hospital. She founded The Written Science, LLC, to support clinically relevant research. Through her company, Rachel partners with biotech teams to create communication strategies that drive biomedical innovation forward into clinics. She lives in Huntsville, Ala., with her three adventure buddies: her husband and two dogs.
