Stephane Ostrowski is the senior technical advisor for the inner Asia region at WCS (Wildlife Conservation Society). For more than 25 years, he has worked to protect vanishing species and their habitats, from the hot Iranian desert of Dasht-e Kavir to the west, across the Central Asian highlands and to the cold Gobi desert to the east.
