Mystery Droplets Inside Cells May Play Vital Roles in Life
The novel physics of biomolecular condensates could explain how these droplets help cells do their jobs
Trevor GrandPre earned his Bachelor’s degree in physics at DePaul University in 2014 and his Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2021. Since then he has been an independent postdoctoral fellow at the Center for the Physics of Biological Function (CPBF), a joint effort of Princeton University and the City University of New York Graduate Center, and at the Princeton Center for Theoretical Science (PCTS), as well as a 2021 Schmidt Science Fellow.
