WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Reuters) - Tests have confirmed the presence of H5 avian influenza on two farms in the western province of British Columbia, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) said on Tuesday.

The government agency said it has placed the farms under quarantine as it conducts further tests to determine the severity of the illness caused in birds.
