LONDON, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Huge explosions hit an industrial area of the northeast Chinese port city of Tianjin late on Wednesday, killing at least seven people and triggering a blast wave felt kilometres (miles) away, Chinese media reported.

State-run news agency Xinhua said at least 180 people in the area had been injured. The agency said earlier the explosion had ripped through a warehouse storing "dangerous goods". (Writing by Andrew Roche)
