Price 2 The publication of LInconnu maile a veritable sensation in France, and it can hardly fail to arouse the greatest interest in this country. It is an eminent scientists study of the phenomena of the so-called spirit world. In touching upon the various psychical manifestations, M. Flammarion cites many absolutely authenticated instances, and chapters of his book are as wiredly fascinating as the most fantastic of Poes tales. It is always interesting to have a scientific man write a work of fiction in which more or less science is cleverly in-I corporated.
