And then I came across this link: Britney Exline, Nation’s Youngest African-American Engineer

She's a graduate from University of Pennsylvania, earning a degree in Computer Science. Presently, she is a Software Engineer on the East Coast and only 20 years old. Amazing huh?

I especially loved the announcements of Scholarship Opportunities in Computer Sciences provided by Volunteen Nation, an online program to catalog and disseminate volunteer opportunities for young people. It started in St. Louis, Missouri so it has been on radar a while.
