In 2009, after recovering from her own battle with breast cancer, Sue Weldon created Unite for HER. The organization helps those with breast or ovarian cancer endure the physical and emotional toll of standard therapies by offering integrative support, including counseling, nutrition, medical acupuncture, yoga, Reiki, and oncology massage. Since its inception, Unite for HER has provided more than 75,000 integrative treatments and eased the burden for more than 9,799 patients at more than 35 hospital and cancer centers.
