Though common, skin allergies are often misunderstood. Reactions depend on how much of an allergen someone is exposed to along with his or her history of exposure. Reactions don’t tend to depend on a chemical’s origin or how it was produced. Understanding what’s true and what’s not can make annoying and sometimes scary allergies that much easier to manage.
